Motorcyclist Who Died In Central PA Crash Despite 'Life-Saving Efforts' By Police ID'd: Coroner

The motorcycle rider who died at the hospital— despite "life-saving efforts" by police—  following a crash, has been identified, authorities say.

Christopher Alberty Rivera, 37, of Lancaster, died at Lancaster general hospital at 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, according to a release by the Lancaster County coroner's office. 

Manor Township police were first called to the single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in the 700 block of Letort Road at 4:27 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, according to a release by the department.

Rivera's body was transported to Lancaster County Forensic Center for further examination, the coroner's office says. The cause and manner of death are currently pending.

The Lancaster County Crash Investigation Team continues to investigate this crash.
